New Spray Hard Coat for EPS &
PU foams
GTP offers a standard,
fast cure polyurethane coating for foam/eps substrates.
This material cures to the touch within 10 seconds to
form a highly impact resistant encapsulation.

New Fire Retardant (Class 1
E-84) Structural Resin for Replicating Molded parts and rocks or Hard Coating
Foam
GTP announces the
development of EuroCoat-FR, a new spray applied (1:1) fast set polyurea
hybrid resin with a Class 1 US fire retardant rating. This new product cures to
the touch within one minute to form an inert plastic with a good balance of
hardness and impact resistance. This makes EuroCoat-FR ideal for making
in-mold artificial rocks, rock climbing walls, sea corals and rigid
architectural panels (beams, panels, stacked stones, etc.).
EuroCoat-FR will also meet the requirements of British Standard 476 Part 7 for low
flame spread.

Polyurea Hard Coating made (a
little) More Affordable without Sacrificing Quality
GTP recently announces
the availability of EuroCoat-6070, a new spray applied (1:1) fast set "pure polyurea" with very high impact resistance and flexibility. This new product
cures to the touch within 10 seconds to form an super hard coating for EPS,
Polyurethane Foam, Wood and concrete or steel (the latter two with a primer).
EuroCoat-6070 will pass the hammer test. In other words, you can place EuroCoat-6070 in
a deep freeze, remove it hours later and strike it with a hammer. The coating
will withstand direct blows from a hammer with cracking or breaking. The foam
underneath will not fare some well, but the coating will hold its integrity.
